Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Riley & Co ("we", "us") sells shoes and clothes for babies, toddlers, and children through this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Contact us at treydugas@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, optional phone number, and password. Your password is stored only as a salted hash, so we cannot read it.
- Order details: what you bought, sizes, totals, the date, your email, and the name and address you want the order shipped to.
- Payment details: payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe, and we never see or store them. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Technical information: like most websites, our server and hosting provider may record your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and show you your order history.
- To process, ship, and support your orders.
- To send account and order emails, such as password reset links and notices that your password changed.
- To protect the site against fraud and abuse, and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not send marketing emails. If that changes, we will ask you first.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services we need to run the store:
- Stripe, to take payments.
- Our email provider, to deliver account emails.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its data.
- Shipping carriers, who receive your name and address to deliver your order.
- Google Fonts: when a page loads, your browser requests fonts from Google, so Google receives your IP address.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what the site needs to work. A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in for up to 14 days, and it is removed when you log out. Your browser's session storage remembers your shopping bag while you check out, and it clears when you close the tab. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account exists. We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
Security
We protect your information with measures such as password hashing and encrypted connections. No website can be made completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can update your name, phone number, and password in your account. To see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete your account, email treydugas@gmail.com. We may need to keep some order records where the law requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, such as those available to California residents, and you can use them by contacting us.
Children
This website is meant for adults buying for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
